These are my principles for happiness
- Long runs looping the same song
- Walking around with no shoes on
- Long walks in the country, with no phone
- Meditating & Breathing (Whim Hoff Method)
- Learning a new random skill
- Sitting in a coffee shop all morning reading
- Calling a friend and going for a walk
- Writing a letter thanking someone
- Having friends over and cooking them dinner
- Group workout classes
- Journaling
- Swimming
- Writing these blog posts
- Improv road trips to somewhere new
- Hitting golf balls on a range
- Spending time with horses or dogs
- Buying coffee for a stranger at a coffee shop.
Wins during the day
Morning/ AM
- Breathing first thing – Whim Hoff
- 1x Coffee
- Ice bath/ cold shower
- Changing state/ Moving – My 300
- P90x Ab Ripper
Day/ M
- Run/ move around 3pm (my least productive time). Just move
Night/ PM
- 7g of Hypnos
- No caffeine after 3pm
- Sauna, Steam, Swim
What maybe more important is NOT to do/ be aware of what makes you Unhappy, these are my 80/20 for just that
- Not exercising for long period of times
- Making food choices when tired or hungry
- Spending too much time on my phone or laptop
- Spending too much time alone
- Not having something to look forward to
- Drinking too much caffeine (anything over 2)
- Going to bed late and waking up late
- Drinking alcohol when alone / no intention
- Spending too much time on social media
- Telling white lies
