Not By Thinking

If you’re feeling lost…

Or not where you thought you’d be by now…

You may start to wonder:

Is this ever going to happen for me?

You’ve got drive. You’ve got ambition.
But things just aren’t clicking.

Some days you wake up with a spark.

Some days you wake up feeling flat.
I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

Because the people who’ve made their dream a reality? They’ve stood where you’re standing.

They have all felt what you are feeling.

But they have moved through it.

Here is how..

My mentor recently asked me…


“What do you do when you’re lost in the woods?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know.”

He smiled. “You start walking.”

“If you stand still, you starve.”

You don’t move because you know the way.
You move because you’ll never figure it out by standing still.

“But What If I Pick the Wrong Path?”

You probably will. And that’s the point.

When you’re heading the wrong way, you get feedback.


You feel it. You see it. And you adjust.

But if you don’t move? Nothing happens. Nothing changes.

So if you’re feeling stuck right now?

1. Action cures fear.

2. Stress comes from not taking action.

Take one step. Do one thing. Move one inch.

You will find out by doing, not by thinking.
